Chris came to Burges & Burges Strategists in 2012 as a research associate. Blending his experience in academic research with a strong passion for local politics and strategic thinking, he eagerly tackles the long-term challenges facing a community. As a consultant, Chris facilitates research processes and data analysis, crafts strategic messaging, and serves as an organizer for local issue campaigns.

Organized campaigns that secured funding for dozens of schools, park and library districts, and senior services and human services organizations.
Won first-time community funding for a regional transit agency, and defeated a well-funded zoning ordinance harmful to local homeowners.
Oversaw a five-year strategic and facilities planning processes by working hands-on with school district board members, administrators, and community members.
Crafted unique and successful messaging for an annual non-profit fundraising campaign after years of declining donations.
Prior to joining Burges & Burges, Chris worked as an Executive Assistant the Vice President for Finance and Business at the College of Wooster. He also graduated from the College of Wooster with a degree in Political Science (US Politics). Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Chris is a proud member of Leadership Lake County’s Signature Class of 2015.
