Chris came to Burges & Burges Strategists in 2012 as a research associate. Blending his experience in academic research with a strong passion for local politics and strategic thinking, he eagerly tackles the long-term challenges facing a community. As a consultant, Chris facilitates research processes and data analysis, crafts strategic messaging, and serves as an organizer for local issue campaigns.

Chris is proud to take a leading role in client success, and has:

  • Organized campaigns that secured funding for dozens of schools, park and library districts, and senior services and human services organizations.

  • Won first-time community funding for a regional transit agency, and defeated a well-funded zoning ordinance harmful to local homeowners.

  • Oversaw a five-year strategic and facilities planning processes by working hands-on with school district board members, administrators, and community members.

  • Crafted unique and successful messaging for an annual non-profit fundraising campaign after years of declining donations.

Prior to joining Burges & Burges, Chris worked as an Executive Assistant the Vice President for Finance and Business at the College of Wooster. He also graduated from the College of Wooster with a degree in Political Science (US Politics). Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Chris is a proud member of Leadership Lake County’s Signature Class of 2015.
