Daniel came to Burges & Burges Strategists in 2021 as an intern. His combination of experiences from working in local government and on political campaigns, while being a full-time student, has extensively prepared him to be a strong member of our team.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to Burges & Burges, Daniel worked as an administrative assistant in the University Heights Building and Housing Department, as well as the campaign manager for Cleveland Heights City Councilwoman Davida Russell in 2019. Daniel’s additional campaign experience has included work on Ohio Rep. Jessica Miranda’s 2020 campaign, Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals Judge Lisa Forbes’ 2020 campaign, and Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb’s 2021 campaign. Daniel also acquired personal campaign experience during his brief run for University Heights City Council. He is also a proud Eagle Scout with an interest in coding.

EDUCATION

Daniel is in his last semester at John Carroll University, where he double majors in Political Science and Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Over the course of his college career, he participated in various student organizations, such as Rugby and Model Arab League. He additionally worked with outside companies such as ESPN Cleveland on marketing projects.
